Tech Talk
TECH TALK IN KAJIADO SOLAR COMMUNITY HUB
The Tech Talk Event was a dynamic forum organized by the Kajiado Solar Community Hub, focusing on enhancing technology awareness and digital skills within the local community. The event brought together tech enthusiasts, students, and professionals to discuss the latest trends in digital transformation and how these innovations could benefit the region. Notable participants included the C.E.C.M for Education and Vocational Training from Nandi County, the ComputerAid Kenya Manager, the ICDL Kenya representative, and the Vocational Training Officer from Kajiado County. Attendees explored key areas such as coding, digital literacy, and tech entrepreneurship, while also benefiting from engaging presentations and interactive sessions with experts from various tech sectors.
Among those we met and interacted with were a graduate Network Engineer from Maseno University, ICT students from Masai National Polytechnic in Kajiado, and other great speakers who shared their valuable insights. This event not only provided a platform for networking and collaboration but also encouraged youth to harness technology for career growth and community development. Participants left inspired, with a deeper understanding of how digital tools can drive progress both within their own lives and in the broader community.
